What are your suggestions in regards when to enter PRO, Amateur, Beginner level tourney....is there a set of 'rules' you set yourself?
I at the moment have just been using my tokens to enter the tourneys and learn the ropes, but wanna put a bit of science behind it.
Tonight I could enter everything, but actually is it better to just focus on the low level ones to start with?
So PRO - don't touch unless its 4* and above?
Amateur - have 75% of the entry at 4* and the rest a min of 3*
Beginner - try to have all at 2*
I just don't want to be entering now for the sake of it - but don't really 'get it' yet.
Cheers in advance everyone.
i do this now:
amateur - i try and buy players needed to make a good team
beginners - stick in whatever players i have that start
freeroll - any old crap starters
i only join using coupons, with the exception of the £1 ones, i use a coupon and pay the extra
Another consideration is whether to go for the full weekend tourneys or say the Sunday ones. Some people will have enough cards to use a strong line up in both but guess many will only have their strongest cards in one? I have been doing the full weekend ones as it's more fun to have more games but may be better to focus. Who knows.
Some of the results have been nuts though so there is a fair bit of luck to the virtuals I think.
Personally I am only spending ‘real’ money on the shorter virtual tournaments like the ‘sunday only’. Find the results in the full tournaments far too unpredictable.
